TFL Offers Solutions For Emergency Hot Spot Repairs

TFL offers the Plibrico Inject-Tite™ system from Plibrico for the emergency repair of hot-spots due to refractory failure.

Hot-spots can occur due to failure of the hot-face lining or, in dual-component linings, failure of the back-up insulation.

Plistix Injectite LWI 2300™ is a lightweight pumpable used to restore insulating linings where the lining is not in contact with an abrasive environment.

Our Plistix Injectite 80™ is a dense, pumpable refractory which is ideally suited for hot-spot repairs. With it's sodium silicate binder, this product maintains excellent physical properties through a wide temperature range.

We maintain an inventory of both materials, as well as pumps for installing the materials.
